Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha has called the telecommunications regulator for Albania, AKEP, “the Thought Police” and a “blind instrument” in the hands of Albanian Premier Edi Rama to threaten the freedom of speech and kill the truth.
Basha commented the list of 44 online portals published by AKEP, claiming they have not been registered yet in the Business National Center and leaving them a deadline to do so.
“AKEP is the Thought Police in Rama’s hands to threaten the freedom of speech and kill the truth”, Basha wrote today.
“Rama wants the online media to register as businesses so he’ll be able to send them the tax inspectors to blackmail and violate them. He will fail shamefully with his blind instrument AKEP”.
