The coronavirus spread marked a new record in Albania with 90 new cases reported in the last 24 hours out of 420 tests. 36 of the new cases have been confirmed in the capital Tirana and 15 in the neighbouring Durrës. Two patients, 81 and 63, respectively in Shkodra and Elbasan, lost their battle with the disease, whereas 81 others are hospitalized, 11 in intensive care, five intubated in serious conditions.

24 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 1875.
