The Albanian Ministry of Health reported 25 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. One man, 69, died in Tirana due to complications from coronavirus. The Ministry said the patient was under intensive care in the Hospital of the Contagious Diseases but the doctors could not save his life.

17 persons have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, out of which three are in the intensive care unit. 24 of the new cases have been reported in Tirana, the next one in Durrës. Eight patients have recovered, bringing the total to 1029, or 78% of the infected patients in the country.

Currently, 193 persons are positive with Covid-19, with the capital Tirana having the highest number, 80, followed by Durrës with 54 and Krujë with 24.
