The well-known American diplomat, advisor to former President Trump, Richard Grenell, reacted on social media after the speech of the American President, Joe Biden.

According to Grenell, Biden did not mention the earthquake in Turkey.

He writes that the staff had even considered mentioning it, but Biden decided against it.

“Joe Biden failed to even mention the devastating earthquake impacting our NATO ally Turkey.

11,000 people have been killed, thousands missing or trapped….

I’m told the White House staff considered mentioning it and decided against it. Wow! Terrible,” writes Grenell on Twitter.

Even the BBC points out in its analysis that Biden did not mention the earthquake in Turkey and Syria in his State of the Union speech.

“The president made no mention whatsoever of the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey - and the humanitarian crisis that is unfolding. Instead, the president's focus was dominated by domestic concerns,” writes BBC.
