Former deputy director of prisons Iljaz Labi has accepted to cooperate with the prosecution after the arrest of the director general of prisons Artur Zoto.

Labi has agreed to tell all the bargains with the prison bids in the period 2015-2016.

According to Labi, his former chief Artur Zoto has oriented him to meet and talk with Ylber Kalaja about selecting him as the bid winner for the prisons food supply. It is understood Labi has given details related to the bids, which correspond to the evidence found in his and other defendants’ smartphones.

According to Labi’s testimony, it was Artur Zoto who decided the winner of food supply bids.
