Former Albanian President Ilir Meta addressed to protesters outside the prime ministry building in Tirana today saying Edi Rama’s regime is a leader only in depopulating the country, surpassing even Lukashenko’s Belarus.

Meta, now Chairman of the Freedom Party, said the citizens have gathered in an “unbreakable commitment to topple this regime through protests and elections. The regime is terrified of the free vote!”, said Meta, adding Rama is “a fool terrified of free speech, terrified of the signatures he has put loot billions of Euros”.

“Now he wants to take the seal of the Democratic Party too. This man, with great mental problems in addition to political problems, today is in panic from the pressure on him from mobsters from all sides after he sought their support to capture the state and destroy its pillars”, said Meta.

“All together, let's continue on our way, elections and protests. I am sure that on May 14 we will all be here to celebrate the victories of (mayoral candidates) Belind Këlliçi, Igli Cara, Luciano Boçi and others”.
