Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha warned Albanian Premier Edi Rama of what is expecting him tomorrow in the parliament from the opposition, where a motion with debate over the McGonigal case will take place.

“Tomorrow in the parliament all his Mafioso acts will be counted, all the mobster activities he carried out in collusion with a traitor of the American nation who was entrusted with the highest duties in the sensitive field of US national security”, said Berisha in the meeting of the Democratic Party parliamentary group.

“We must investigate the direct profits of this mafia group, with their mafia activity in Tirana. The lists compiled and distributed – where the names of Edi Rama, Lulzim Basha, and others clearly appear – must be investigated. This is an unprecedented affair; it goes from lobbying for the annihilation of the opposition to lobbying against Russian companies for the benefit of other Russian companies”.

“It is very important that Albanians learn the truth tomorrow. Edi Rama deceived the Albanians. He openly defended McGonigal, he said that he was doing FBI work here in Tirana, not extorting. Rama became McGonigals’s defending lawyer, but they both will receive punishment from their respective countries. This is the Watergate of the 21st century”, said Berisha.
