Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha commemorated today February 20, 1991, when the Albanian citizens in Tirana pulled down the statue of communist dictator Enver Hoxha. Remembering the day, Berisha said it will serve as a reminder to Albanians to rise in a revolution against Edi Rama’s regime.

“February 20 inspires more than anything else Albanians to rise in a revolution. Only a revolution can topple this regime that stomps on the votes, robs the assets and acknowledges no norms, moral, or law”, said the former Prime Minister.

“The ones that love this country must join this revolution. The word revolution should not frighten them, quite the contrary, it must appeal to their consciences that there is no other way out other than the revolution where vote is dying. This is why I invite all Albanians to unite in this revolution, to continue our battle until total victory”.
