Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha met today in Malta Viktor Orban, chairman of Fidesz and Hungarian Prime Minister. They both are participating in the Congress of European People’s Parties.

Basha and Orban talked about the political developments in Albania and the criminality threat for the free and fair elections.

Basha said the cause of free and fair elections is connected strongly to Albania’s European integration. The Democrat leader informed the Hungarian Prime Minister that a caretaker cabinet is the only way to create the healthy environment for free and fair elections.

Mr. Orban said that his party Fidesz is fully supporting the Albanian opposition’s political action, which aims free and fair elections in the country.
