Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha alleged today powerful people in Brussels have become part of the €600-millions CEZ affair. Speaking from “the Tent of Freedom” Basha said the international Mafia and their accomplice in Tirana have shared the money. He promised that the Democratic Party will go to the end of this problem.

“Rama promised to lower the energy price, but he raised it instead and started a campaign of overbillings, hitting even stronger those who are in economic difficulties, the major part of the Albanian people”, Basha said.

“Arrests, intimidations, power cut, everything to fill the case, emptied from the affair with CEZ”.

“You’ve heard with facts from the lawyers and the international institutions how 659 million Euros were stolen from the Albanians’ pockets. Recognized and legally accepted obligations from the CEZ Company, money that should have been in the case of the Albanian State, money that never came, because it was divided among the international Mafia and their accomplice in Albania. Powerful people in Brussels are part of this Mafioso act. We’ll go to the end of this affair, in order to put the responsible ones before the real justice, not the criminal one”, the Democrat leader said in front of protesters in the boulevard.
