Former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha condemned the attack of Prime Minister Edi Rama against Syri TV reporter Ambrozia Meta. Berisha spoke to media reporters outside the parliament after the session chairwoman Ermonela Felaj wouldn’t give him the floor.

Berisha said he would request a resolution to condemn Rama’s behavior. On Tuesday, Rama refused to answer to Meta’s questions and said she wouldn’t receive answers from him for 60 days, after she said the Socialist Party was creating a parliamentary group in prison.

“He decided 60 days of informative jail for the reporter only because she asked him how he was feeling about the parliamentary group that was being created in prison. With his dark soul, he’d have liked to imprison her to a real prison not 60 but 6,000 days”, said Berisha.

“I appeal to the MPs to pass a resolution to condemn Edi Rama’s misogynist and archaic act, who has an acceptable behavior before the ladies that are doing their job”.
