The historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha commented US Ambassador Yuri Kim’s interference in the mayoral by-election, saying it was dictated by corruptive lobbying. Speaking to host Çim Peka on Çim Peka Live on Syri TV, Berisha said Kim is under Edi Rama’s and George Soros’ control and has kicked in the most vulgar way the Convent of Vienna and the principles of free elections.

Berisha also spoke about the role of former chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha, saying he is a hostage of investigative files such as the Muzin case in the United States and Toyota Yaris in Albania.

The former Prime Minister repeated Rama and Basha are actually co-governing since they are involved in corruptive affairs together, mentioning the case of appointments in the Authority of the Audiovisual Media and the affair of the port of Durrës.
