The historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha participated in the celebrations for the 31th anniversary of the foundation of the party branch of Fier, where he said that the fired chairman Lulzim Basha represents nothing but the defeats and he is not the future.

“After going from one defeat to another for eight years, he asks Albanians to follow him because he is the future. As a matter of fact he is only a defeat, defeat, nothing but defeat”, Berisha told the attendance.

He added Basha is “a bad seed which unfortunately we did not understand”.

“In 31 years, no one showed this person’s low political standards, no one! He showed he has no principles and is ready to do anything for the sake of his chair”.

Berisha, who initiated the movement for the re-foundation of the Democratic Party, promised the real Democrats “are and will remain invincible in protection of its real values”.
