The fuel prices in Albania will not change until Friday despite a 6%-low in the international markets. The price setting has left unhappy the citizens, which have warned for massive protests on Tuesday.

A liter of oil in the gas stations will be sold for 245 Albanian Lek until April 1.

The decision of the Transparence Board established by the government will not change despite the fall of 6% of the prices for barrel from Monday.

So, the government has abandoned its commitment to control abuses with the minimal margin of profits.

The week started with a falling trend in the international markets but that satisfies neither the citizens nor the businesses. They will continue to pay high prices set by the Transparence Board.
