Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha, after attacking the base of his party as “anti-American”, declared yesterday he won’t give them the right to express themselves through voting.

Paradoxically he promised during the electoral campaign that Albanians would have the possibility to express themselves through referendums on different matters.

“The same chairman that in the electoral campaigns promised the possibility of referendums to Albanians denied this right to the members of the Democratic Party. This is a huge disappointment”, wrote noted professor Envery Bytyçi.

“It seems only Rama and Basha are the ‘Americans’ of Albania!”
