Albanian President Ilir Meta has reacted after yesterday’s statement of the EU Delegation to Albania, following Meta’s declaration that the Judiciary Reform in Albania had failed and it was not European Justice.

“The Justice reform and the EU Integration process of Albania should be a priority for every Albanian politician, a reason of unity, not divisiveness, for the benefit of the citizens. The EU will continue its support to the reform process and ensure the adequate monitoring of standards in close cooperation with the US”, EU Delegation said in its statement.

Meta’s spokesman Tedi Blushi responded today that “The President of the Republic not only has made all possible efforts so far, transparently and systematically, documented and informal, constructive and all-inclusive, but he will also continue to make any efforts for the constitutional implementation of the Justice Reform in order to avoid delays, collapse, and unilateral and divisive implementation and the capture of the system. The President will not be tired in the future to work with this spirit as an obligation to the Albanian citizens”.

“Meanwhile the President does not prohibit any one to sing ‘from victory to victory’ in both solo and chorus versions”.
