Armand Duka has been confirmed as the president of the Albanian Football Association for a fifth term, after winning the elections against the Socialist Party deputy Bashkim Fino.
Neither of the candidates won the necessary 2/3 of votes in the first round, with Duka leading the race with 39 votes against Fino’s 22, while four votes were invalid.
Duka won the runoff vote with 38 votes against former Premier Fino’s 24, confirming himself for the fifth term from 2002.
