Sewing businesses in Vlora have turned into coronavirus hotspots. Nine new cases reported in the last 24 hours in the coastal city in the southwest, 150 kilometers south of the Albanian capital Tirana. Five of the cases are employees of one of the sewing businesses in the city which had reported five other cases earlier.

The business has been shut down today.

So far, 45 persons have died from coronavirus in Albania, with a total of 2047 infected by Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
