Albanian authorities stopped a Chinese couple at the checking point in the harbor of Durrës over fear they might have the coronavirus. The two Chinese nationals underwent medical tests to find out whether they had the virus.

The couple resulted negative and later it was verified they had been touring in Europe for the last three months, since before the virus outbreak in Wuhan. They were allowed to continue their tour in Albania.

So far, no person infected with the frightening virus has been spotted in Albania.
