The opposition is set to stage another protest today in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The rally is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with demonstrators expected to march toward the government building.

In a post on social media, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha shared a promotional video for the protest and called on citizens to join what he described as a peaceful demonstration against what he termed “the common evil of Albanians,” referring to Rama.

The video circulated by Berisha includes symbolic footage of the toppling of the bust of dictator Enver Hoxha, drawing a parallel with what he calls Rama’s “narco-dictatorship.” The footage shows Berisha, who has stated that just as he stood alongside Albanians during the fall of the dictatorship, he will also stand with them in confronting the current government.

The post was accompanied by the message: “The final mile! Time to overthrow the narco-dictatorship!”

Berisha also emphasized that the opposition will continue organizing consecutive protests until Rama leaves office.
