Berisha: The Constitutional Court Is the Last Den of Thieves, Criminally Enforcing Edi Rama’s Orders

The leader of the Democratic Party stated at a press conference that “the Constitutional Court is the last den of thieves; it criminally enforces the orders of Edi Rama.”

Berisha said: “Dear citizens, yesterday proved to each and every one of you, to all Albanians, to the international community, and to the entire world that Albania’s Constitutional Court is the last den of your thieves.

In an extreme act of self-humiliation, those whom the Constitution defines as its guarantors and places at the highest pedestal of the judicial power pyramid are proving before your eyes that they are the last den of the thieves of the narco-state.

These gentlemen and ladies, naturally not all of them, as I must acknowledge the correct stances taken by some, demonstrate that they are willing not to defend the law, the Constitution, and your interests, but to trample on the law, the Constitution, and their own dignity and morality.

All of this solely to humbly carry out, in the most criminal manner, the orders of Edi Rama.

This time I did not ask who requested the extension. No. This was the third time. Three times in a row that court signed its own disgrace.

That court showed that before the law, before the interests of an entire people, before the interests of hundreds of thousands of Albanian children who, according to all statistics, cannot be properly fed, before the interests of millions of Albanians who abandon their country because their jobs are destroyed, before the interests of thousands of patients who cannot obtain their medicines because the funds for medicines are stolen by officials whom these judges protect, and before the dignity of the country itself, these people are the shame of the country, the shame of the nation.

They make Albania a laughingstock before the entire world with these stances. They turn Albania into a disgraceful, rogue state without law or Constitution, and they do so solely for personal interests.

We are witnessing degradation at the deepest level possible. Through their ambiguity they show how characterless and shameless they are, what a disgraceful type of people they represent.

It is one thing to openly take sides and face the public. But these shameless individuals have taken hostage the country’s highest institution of justice, the Constitutional Court.

Another one gets up like a mouse, a human degeneracy, nothing else, and leaves the meeting. Yet there are even greater disgraces, because the Oltion Bistri file is brought out.
