Prime Minister Edi Rama has justified the brutal police violence against opposition protesters. In a scandalous reaction, he insulted the opposition and protesting citizens, demonstrating that he is the instigator of the police’s brutal conduct toward citizens. Rama did not say a single word about the mass use of tear gas in violation of all protocols, nor about the violent escorting of children to police stations.

Prime Minister Edi Rama issued a scandalous response after the opposition’s mass protest, showing that he is the instigator of police violence and brutality against citizens. Shaken by the scale of the protest and by the fact that thousands of citizens are calling for his removal over serious corruption scandals, Rama lashed out with crude insults toward the opposition and the public. He described opposition protesters, who are citizens of the republic and taxpayers of this state, as a blind pack.
By now, these kinds of protests, with the filth they leave on the boulevard, resemble the street outpouring of the senile old man who organizes them… Unstoppable degeneration and inconsolable despair!
Best wishes to the police officers who were injured and hurt by this blind pack.
Rama accused the Democratic Party of violence against institutions, even though he himself is the organizer of the most violent protests in the history of the Albanian state. In his statement, Rama did not mention a single word about the police’s violent conduct, which disproportionately and in violation of protocols deployed large quantities of tear gas and pepper water against protesters, causing health problems for many of them. Likewise, the head of government said nothing about the latest police scandal, in which officers forcibly escorted and assaulted the 10 year old Romeo Kora. Rama wished the police officers a speedy recovery, even though data from the Trauma Hospital and QSUT show that only one police officer received medical assistance after the protest and was immediately discharged from the hospital.
