Ahmetaj: KAYO, a corrupt affair and a threat to National Security! The role of Roni Yeffet, Rama attempted to hand over our embassy in New York

In an interview on Çim Peka Live on Syri TV, Arben Ahmetaj lays out what he describes as the scandalous affair behind the state-owned company KAYO.

Ahmetaj says there is a complete capture of the state, a threat to the defense industry, and a diversion of state budget funds. He also speaks about Roni Yeffet, who was a partner in Air Albania. The state loses its right of veto. The Supreme State Audit can no longer audit any such subsidiary. Public assets are turned into private capital without any privatization procedure. And private companies under the KAYO umbrella receive military contracts without tenders.

The core issue is that the same person who was a partner in Air Albania, Roni Yeffet, is the same individual whom the head of the organization wanted to grant land and our embassy in New York. The same person to whom an attempt was made to assign public debt, which I refused, is now made the main private partner in KAYO. This is a corrupt affair.

It takes a perverse mind: when it speaks of a pure heart and a good mind, it is in fact a dark heart and a perverse mind that act.

Even though he refers to himself, having now lost touch with reality, that is beside the point. What we have is a complete capture of the state, a threat to the defense industry, and a diversion of state budget funds.
