After daily pressure, the Constitutional Court has agreed to review the suspension of the defendant Balluku.
The Court’s previous precedents, such as the refusal to accept the appeal of 30 opposition MPs in the Berisha case, have now been broken.
According to sources for SYRI journalist Klajdi Bodlli, it is reported that 5 Constitutional Court judges voted in favor of accepting Edi Rama’s request, while 3 others voted against reviewing the case concerning the suspension of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure.
With this decision, it appears that the Constitutional Court has bowed before the Prime Minister, ahead of a final act that could also result in a decision in his favor.
