On Monday, the opposition will once again take to the streets in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. At 6:00 p.m., an open podium will be set up outside the Council of Ministers, giving both MPs and citizens the chance to speak, a platform the opposition claims Prime Minister Rama has denied them in parliament.

The opposition is set to resume its protests this Monday in the square outside the Prime Minister’s Office, continuing its push for the Rama government to step down. On November 24, at 6:00 p.m., the next public podium will take place on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, positioned once again in front of Rama’s office. Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has described the event as a “People’s Parliament,” where both MPs and ordinary citizens can voice their concerns.

The DP chairman stated that the main demand of the protest is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, whom he accuses of involvement in corrupt affairs. The goal, he says, is to move toward a caretaker government and ensure free and fair elections. Berisha insists that the public podium will continue until Albanians can vote as free citizens. He argues that Rama has effectively confiscated parliament, leaving protest as the only path forward. The podium will give speaking time not only to MPs but also to citizens.
