Opposition leader Sali Berisha declared at a press conference that Belinda Balluku has threatened Edi Rama, telling him, "I will never allow myself to share my grandfather's fate, who was executed with your father's signature."

Part of Berisha's statement:

Secondly, I want to inform you that Harpy Balluku has bared her teeth in a threat against Edi Rama, first and foremost against him, but also against others in turn.

Confidential sources within the Socialist Party report that during the meeting held at the party's headquarters, where Edi Rama attacked SPAK and defended the Harpy, declaring these were attacks against him and his party and insisting that the Harpy is innocent, she herself was fierce and merciless toward the audience.

In that same meeting, the Harpy made it clear that she would drag others down with her. What she told Rama privately, she also said openly in the meeting, where key participants included not only Ogerta but also Pëllumbesha Spirgjoka.

The Harpy was extremely aggressive in that meeting.

She made it absolutely clear to Rama that in anything that might move forward, he would be the first to be sacrificed before her because, as she said, "I have done nothing but follow your orders."

At one point she reminded him, despite their boundless, well-known friendship and deep loyalty since their time in the municipality, that she had earned her position because of that loyalty. Yet she warned him again: "Do not let history repeat itself, because I will never allow myself to share my grandfather's fate, who was executed with your father's signature."

In other words, she drew a clear line, showing she is ready to erase every friendship and every past connection if Edi Rama dares, even for a moment, to sacrifice the Harpy in order to save himself.
