Rama mocks President Trump in front of President Macron

Edi Rama, the head of the Albanian government, took part in the seventh Summit of the European Political Community in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Meanwhile, in a video circulating online, he is caught at a moment making fun of a slip made by the U.S. President during one of his speeches, when he said that he had helped stop the war between Albania and Azerbaijan, instead of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

He approaches French President Emmanuel Macron, with the President of Azerbaijan also present, and jokingly tells him while laughing: “You didn’t congratulate us for achieving peace between Albania and Azerbaijan.”

“You should apologize here, to both of us here, because you didn’t congratulate us for the peace agreement that President Trump brokered between Albania and Azerbaijan,” Rama tells Macron, who is left stunned by the out-of-place jokes of the Albanian prime minister.

“He worked hard,” Rama says, shamefully mocking the U.S. President’s slip.
