Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha declared in the electoral campaign opening rally in Berat he will be the “Prime Minister of economy” and for that purpouse he has prepared a strong economic plan, consulting with the experts of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Basha anticipated that the plan needs taking clear-cut decisions:

“I will be the Prime minister of economy. I’ll work day and night for the economy of Berat and the whole Albania. My economic plan has the seal of the economic experts of Angela Merkel; of the Christian Democratic Union, which has helped us with their best experts and a strong economic plan that will seek clear-cut and strong decisions. The first one will be decreasing VAT and taxes”, Basha said.
