Albanian Premier Edi Rama once again assumed the role of Serbia’s advocate in a time when the whole Western world is concerned about the Serbian threat and the situation in the north Kosovo.

Speaking in a Bratislava summit, Rama tried to diminish the danger from the Serbian army. According to the Albanian government chief, sending Serbian troops close to the Kosovo border has zero effect.

“This is the most incredible show of the internal politics, because the Serbian army at the Kosovo border has zero effect. What can they do? Nothing! It has to do only with the domestic politics”, said Rama.

“Unfortunately, before summer’s arrival there are always problem in the northern part of Kosovo. There is no sea there and heads become hot. Where were they twenty years ago, or ten years ago? They were in a much worse situation. Today the Western Balkans is in its best situation. Things between Kosovo and Serbia are only one step away from an agreement, now both parties are in a moment of hesitation. This is the perspective”.

Rama has failed to condemn the violence committed by the Serbian President’s gangs, and the presence of Serbian violent criminal groups in north Kosovo.
