Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta condemned the last attack of Prime Minister Edi Rama against the Prestige Resort in Durrës as an attack against the free press. The former President of Albania said this is an attack of a person with schizophrenic hate not only against this business but against the properties of any citizen.

“On this sacred day of celebration for the Bektashi believers, at the same time the Day of Democracy in Albania, Edi Rama’s government did not stop its Mafioso unlawful acts”, Meta wrote.

“The avenging acts against the Prestige Resort, in violation of all the laws and human rights, are open attacks with schizophrenic hate not only against this business but against the properties of any citizen.

Today, the juridical safety, the respect of the law, the respect of the right to complain in the country’s courts took another blow from Edi Rama and his band that want to shut up the media and prevent them from telling the truth”.

The Prestige Resort’s owner Irfan Hysenbelliu is also a media owner whose television and newspapers have criticized the failures of Rama’s government.
