Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha condemned MP Enkelejd Alibeaj’s “dirty games” with premier Edi Rama to “bury” the votes of more than 40,000 Albanian citizens.

“Rama’s game with the pseudo opposition is macabre, the efforts to leave Albania without an opposition are shameful and antidemocratic”, Berisha said.

“The efforts consist in misusing Alibeaj and (former Democratic Party Secretary General) Gazment Bardhi to cement the power of Rama’s crime. Ours is a movement, we are ready to defend the principles we believe in and we’ll demonstrate that”.
