One day prior to the elections for the new chairman of the Democratic Party, former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha sent a message not only to the Democrats but to all Albanian citizens that have lost faith that radical changes may take place in Albania.

“A heartfelt call to all you, friends”, Berisha said in his video message.

“Our passion is the Albanians’ freedom. We continue this battle, this mission, more determined than ever, as powerful movement led by the Democratic Party that will be joined by all Albanians that believe in this country, that wish this country to be made by Albanians, that decide to tell themselves: ‘I’ll join this movement’, ‘I’ll never say again I don’t care’, ‘I’ll never say again there’s nothing one can do’. There’s a lot we can do”.

“We can change this situation, we can turn Albania in its right path because now Albania is going astray. Let us convince them all, let’s knock on their hearts, wisely, smartly, humanly. Let’s make them join us”.
