Today marks the second anniversary of the earthquake that on November 26, 2019 killed 51 persons and destroyed homes and livelihood for thousands of others. Albanian Premier Edi Rama remembered the tragic event that shocked the country, saying tragedies test people, adding we are stronger today.

“Thousands of families affected by the earthquake today are better than before the tragedy stroke”, said Rama.

However, two years after the quake, people still continue to live in tents, unlike Rama’s claim for better lives for those that lost their dear ones and everything they had.
