An unusual situation took place today at the Democratic Party branch in Fier, where persons sent by Chairman Lulzim Basha usurped the local seat, changed the doors locks, and set up security cameras to forbid entrance in the building of the secretary and party executive members. The act was seen as personal vendetta from Basha after 550 out of 640 Assembly delegates from Fier signed the petition for the convocation of the Democrat National Assembly on December 11, answering to former Chairman Sali Berisha’s call.
The organizing secretary and the local branch secretary noticed what had happened and filed a complaint in the Police Department of Fier.
Organizing Secretary Rrapi Gjika told Syri TV it was Basha’s personal vendetta for the petition of December 11. Gjika added not delegate from Fier will take place in the Assembly called by Basha on December 18.
