Albanian President Ilir Meta is visiting Kosovo, where he met today the Speaker of the Parliament Glauk Konjufca.

Meta expressed his appreciation for Kosovo’s overall progress and especially for the recent electoral processes as an excellent example of the consolidation of the rule of law, level of democratization, and the awareness of the society.

The Albanian President also highlighted the immediate need for internal political consensus as well as an all-inclusive platform for the continuity of the dialogue with Serbia in close cooperation with the strategic partners. Speaking about international relations, both Meta and Konjufca shared the opinion for the necessity of continuing with the Berlin Process as an all-inclusive initiative, unlike the Open Balkans that seems to be an exclusive and divisive project.
