The Democratic Party executive gathered today for the first time after the election of June 13, closed with the reelection of Chairman Lulzim Basha.

The chairman addressed to the party executive members, saying the future reforms in the party will be in function of the battle for democracy in the country.

“The upcoming months will be fully active because such will be the battle that waits ahead of us”, Basha said. “We are aware we need to improve what needs to be improved as soon as possible, because every lost day, every day that is not used for the perfection of the Democratic Party is a day in power that we gift to the enemy of democracy”.

“We will strengthen and deepen the alliance with the people and groups of interest by including them in the decision-making. This is our task. We are facing an adversary that has defined clearly his alliance with crime and oligarchy. Our mission is attracting to us the overwhelming majority of the Albanians that want change, want democracy and see in us their only hope for the realization of all this”, said the Democrat chief.
