EU Ambassador to Albania Luigi Soreca met Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha one day after he was re-elected at the helm of the party.

After the meeting, Ambassador Soreca tweeted about the meeting, writing Basha and he talked about important matters in the country.

“After his re-election as Chairman of DP, I met today with Lulzim Basha to discuss the current political situation in the run-up to the new legislature starting next September, as well as the important next steps in the EU integration process of Albania”, Soreca wrote.
