Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha spoke today specifically about the destruction that is happening to the city of Durrës. Durrës Mayor Vangjush Dako is accused of concreting over the ruins of an ancient building, which was discovered while digging for the Veliera project. However, Berisha pointed his finger to Rama as the real culprit.

"Rama and Dako are destroying Durrës like ISIS did with Palmyra. Gjushi (Dako) is a 24-karats Mafioso, there’s no doubt about that. But do not forget for any moment this Mafioso would not dare to cut even a single tree branch without the order of the main bandit that stays here and fills pockets with the money made from the destruction of Durrës”, Berisha said from the Tent of Freedom in the boulevard, pointing to Rama’s office.
