Albanian Premier Edi Rama sees the strike of the air controllers in Tirana’s International Airport as sabotage against his government efforts to brings anti Covid-19 vaccines to Albania.

Rama’s latest slip came after the controllers started their strike as a response to salaries reduction and the dismissal of five colleagues.

“The grave sabotage of the activity of the Mother Theresa Airport will not be tolerated! The inspirers of this crazy chartist movement, Sali (Berisha) that throws digital stones and Ilir (Meta) that throws stones of the ‘Moron’ brand and hides his hand want the closure of the airport to stop the vaccines from coming”, Rama wrote.

“The organizers will be prosecuted criminally and will face the law which forbids categorically the interruption of the tower activity from the controllers! The others must decide immediately: Either with the State at work or with the anti-State at a penal process for threatening the national security”.
