The World Health Organization has denied the statements of Prime Minister Rama, who blackmailed the citizens through the vaccination process. WHO officials told Syri Television this afternoon that the organization's goal is to ensure through COVAX that all countries, including Albania, have access to anti-Covid vaccines.

Syri TV - This may sound strange, but on April 25 Albania holds parliamentary elections and the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama has often said that if the opposition wins, the Albanian people will no longer have access to vaccines. It sounds a little strange, but the general public may be concerned that this statement may be true. My question is whether this statement is true or farce. Will Albanians be left without vaccines if the opposition wins the elections?

Bruce Alyuard from WHO - I do not believe we can comment on political statements. The question reinforces that we must provide all people, wherever they are, with access to vaccination, especially medical staff, as we have heard from the Turkish minister and others, including the director general. Of course also the elderly population and those at high risk. The purpose of the facility through the Covax program, of which Albania and other countries are members, is to ensure that all countries and all populations have access to vaccines. That's the key to getting out of this situation or the individual circumstances of a country.
