The president of the Sol s.p.a. in Albania, Besnik Halili, is believed to be the guarantee of ‘’ndragheta’s “prince” Antonio Gallo to bribe the Albanian government.

The company, known in Albania as GTS-GazraTeknike Shqiptare shpk, has finished already under the lens of the Albanian the authorities, suspected for money laundering.

According to data from Open Data, the surveyed company has earned 80 public procurements in Albania, all in the health sector!

Dosja.al has also obtained the document that shows the scheme of the total number of tenders according to the tendering authorities.

The “red flag” for this case was raised by Open Data, which is an open platform that serves for the cataloging of data by government institutions.

In a document made public it was clear that the company GTS shpk has won a tender in the university hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi”. In all tenders conducted by the Ministry of Health and subordinate structures, including the University Hospital Center Tirana, for hospital oxygen, the winner is announced GTS.

An Italian authorities’ mega-operation was needed to find out that in Albania there is a company that launders money and connects the Albanian government to Italian mobsters.

Besnik Halili’s name, along with noted persons in Italy, came to light following the publication of the wiretaps of the Italian authorities. Italian police have arrested 50 persons, among them businessmen and ‘ndrangheta members that had connections with government officials and businessmen in Albania.

All are accused of being part of a €250 million corruption affair.
