Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha responded to Premier Edi Rama’s latest attack against the European Union. Rama said EU cares only for the member states concerning the distribution of the anti-Covid vaccine. Basha reacted writing that EU is not to blame for eight years of lies, stealing, poverty, but the “Tire” of the government that steals the citizens.
"Albania has the highest number of closed businesses in the region, has the highest number of citizens who lost their jobs, has the lowest economic aid that a government has provided to its citizens, has the highest theft in Europe, and the Head of the Government, like no other Prime Minister, continues to attack the EU”, Basha wrote.
“EU is not to blame for eight years of lies, failure, stealing, poverty; it is the fault of the Head of the government who steals Albanians and denies them the children's bread. Once again Rama blames others for the worst government in the history of Albania.
The EU has been and is with us in good and difficult days. The gratitude of Albanians will never be lacking. After April 25, we will put Albania back on track on our only destination, which is EU integration”.
