Democratic Party Spokeswoman Ina Zhupa made public the real figures that Erion Veliaj, in the capacity of Tiranaâs Mayor, has spent for the youth, catching him in a lie. According to tables shown by Zhupa, Veliaj has spent for the youth as much as only 0.07 percent of the Cityâs budget.
âYouth is the last in the line the Cityâs priorities and yet it doesnât make the pointless propaganda of ready tapes stop. Veliaj wants the forgotten youth, without any plans or projects for improvement and employment, only as background for his empty speechesâ, Zhupa said.
âThe model they we offered by the Renaissance in the government and City Hall â with the traffickers and the rapists leading the country in key positions in the government; with the unschooled with party documents running the institutions; with poverty sitting cross-legged in their homes; with jobs nowhere to be found; with tuition fees increasing â disappointed the youth and made them leave the country in search of economic asylumâ.
âFrom 2014 to the time being, 139995 persons under 34 years old have requested economic asylum abroad, not counting the illegal ones. The youth is disappointed from the failed management and has seen what you have offered in eight years in the government and six years in the City Hall. The youth will lead the change in April 25, to make leave those who think only to enrich themselvesâ.
