Albanian opposition leader Lulzim Basha said in an exclusive interview on Syri TV that Albania has no other alternative but change.

“Is there any other alternative for Albania except changing? You may receive the answer from the mouths of the Albanians I have met in every city and hundreds of villages where I have had meetings. The citizens want change. Even the ones affiliated with the Socialist Party are convinced that change is the only way”, Basha told host Çim Peka on Çim Peka Live show.

The Democrat leader said the economy is in crisis, but it was so way before the pandemic. Basha called the last seven years as “seven years of failures”.

“No one can stop changing, neither could I. The Democratic Party is the change. This is not my personal bet. I do not put political bets. I serve till the end to what is the best interest of Albanians. The glass is full and is pouring. Enough!”

Basha added he has not promised miracles, neither empty promises, only normality.

“Rama has not solved problems, he has just accumulated them. That’s why even Socialists are convinced that changing is the only solution. The only condition of the citizens is not simply to end the rotation of seats, but to end the transition. In seven years, Rama only piled all the vices and failures of 30 years of transition. This is our main challenge”, Basha said.
