The State Police has turned into Premier Edi Rama’s propaganda office instead of doing their job as defenders of the citizens and the public order.

After the latest protests following the murder of Klodian Rasha by the police patrol, the State Police today has decided to put extra pressure on the citizens that participate in the rallies, claiming that the country may go to a second national lockdown if they continue to take the streets against Rama.

The State Police is making the press office of the Ministry of Health, warning with a lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In a public statement, the State Police appealed to the citizens to stop – among other things – gathering in groups with more than 10 persons, be it in open or closed spaces, conferences, rallies, party meetings, celebrations, etc, and keep the social distancing.

“Trying to avoid passing to another phase of lockdown beyond the current curfew from the institutions in charge, let us continue complying with maximal seriousness with the Normative Act for the easing of the pandemic effect”, the State Police statement said.
