Free healthcare was one of Edi Rama’s main promises nearly eight years ago in the electoral campaign before winning the 2013 elections. Today, almost eight years later, it is one of many promises he did not keep. Not only didn’t he keep the promise but now the health system has remained far behind, which was proved by the coronavirus pandemic.

This was the comment of former Democrat MP Oriola Pampuri, posted on her Facebook page.

“His plan was only one and has remained the same: Fill the pockets of his cronies with Albanians money. The citizens are paying a high price for Edi Rama’s failure, his electoral lies and stealing Albanians money. They are paying with their own lives”, Pampuri wrote.
