Albanian President Ilir Meta has welcomed the comments made by the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Expansion Oliver Varhelyi, which suggested to Premier Edi Rama to wait for the advice of the Venice Commission before re-voting in the parliament the changes made to the Electoral Code last July.

Meta said he is hoping for patience for sincere advices and promised that after the April 25 elections next year the conditions for Albania’s integration in EU will be fulfilled very quickly.
