The Albanian opposition leader Lulzim Basha said today coronavirus is only the enemy number two of the citizens, with Premier Edi Rama considered as the number one.

Speaking to media reporters, the chairman of the Democratic Party (PD) blamed the Prime Minister for his inactivity in a time of crisis.

“With his inactivity in this time of crisis, we don’t have an accountable Prime Minister and government, but only an enemy of the Albanians’ health and lives”, Basha said.

“This battle has proved once again that the coronavirus is enemy number two, because the Prime Minister is the number one. The enemy number one of the Albanians’ healthcare and welfare is the man who, in the middle of the crisis, continues to take money from the citizens’ pockets into his band of cronies’ pockets.

Only an enemy of their own people could continue to abuse and embezzle and not explain why he hasn’t increased the number of tests, or is the medicaments mafia still selling antibiotics and fill the pockets of the Prime Minister and his cronies?”
