A civil complaint has been filed in the Administrative Court against the process of selecting the candidates for the Albanian National Bureau of Investigation (BKH – Byroja Kombëtare e Hetimit). Sources said there are other running candidates that have complained for the in just process. They make allegations about a certain list of favorite names to be members of the BKH. An anonymous source added they are persons close to the left wing and kin of state police functionaries.
The director of BKH is Aida Hajnaj, a former official of the State Police, accused by the opposition as close to the Socialist Party.
According to one source, the list includes anonymous and inept persons, some of them belonging to professions that are irrelevant to the job they are supposed to do.
Most of them do not meet the criterion of having been at least one year employed in the law enforcing against the structured crime.
