Former Albanian President Bujar Nishani said the today’s opposition must make only one promise for the time when it comes to power: to remove every thief from the public offices, wherever they might be. Nishani was commenting Premier Edi Rama’s promises of reducing taxes.

“After havening invented every kind of taxes, after having raised them, after having stolen with taxes and non-taxes, today, after seven years of torturing the citizens, the ordinary thief and fraud promises to erase ever tax”, Nishani wrote.

“The opposition must make only one promise: to remove every thief from everywhere they might be. Remove the thief and fraud from the office of the Prime Minister! After that, the scandalous taxes will fall themselves”.
